Hip Hop for the Homeless is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2002 by DJ Luvva J and friends in Canada. The plague of homelessness challenged Luvva J to bring the cause to the States. Since 2006 he has rallied artists together to use their voice to support those in need.

The purpose of the event is to spread awareness of this issue of homelessness and to encourage folks to get involved and develop a deeper understanding surrounding poverty in our country.

We’ll need volunteers both days in order for this event to run smoothly. If folks are interested in volunteering on either Saturday or Sunday they can e mail us at hiphop4thehomeless@gmail.com
